The Village of Oak Lawn will be celebrating 4th of July with a grand parade down 95th Street in 2011. We would like to make this year's 4th of July Parade one to remember. The Village of Oak Lawn would like to invite CVMA to help celebrate this Patriotic Event. The parade is scheduled for Monday, July 4th and begins at 10:00am. An application and hold harmless agreement have been attached for your review along with the parade route map. Some facts about the parade:
100 - number entries
3/4 mile - distance of parade
1 1/2 hours - length of parade time
vehicles must be decorated ( Car Clubs are Exempt )
throwing of candy is allowed by marchers
parade will be "aired" on cable television

Currently ride with the Fort Riley, KS Chapter 21-1. Will be visiting my husband's home state of Illinois this next week to see his family. Hopefully I see some of my brothers and sisters proudly wearing the patch while we're there.
